Join us for a ROYAL Nationals Experience for dancers, families, teachers & directors to cherish and remember at The Claridge, a Radisson Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ. Gleaming with undeniable charm and famous roots. Once known by its 1929 nickname “Skyscraper by the Sea”. The Claridge is a legendary & unforgettable destination in Atlantic City.

The Claridge Hotel features Indoor Pool, Fitness Center, Free Wi-Fi, Twenties Italian Bistro, The VUE Rooftop Bar, Leavander’s 22, Interior access to Bally’s Casino Floor. This beautiful hotel sits beachfront in the heart of the action; steps from the boardwalk, Steel Pier, amusements, local casinos, over 100 restaurants, outlet shopping and aquarium.

Battle of the Castles... Royal Color Tournament!

A full week of fun and engaging ways to score points to win our version of Color Wars.  Our Battle of the Castles (Castle’s being each studio) The Winner of this coveted title will be introduced to our Royal Kingdom on Thursday at our Royal Experience Battle Royale Finale!

 

Fun, Collaborative & Creative Ways to earn points…   

Master Classes

Master Classes taught by some of the most talented professionals in the industry. Classes are available to all dancers/teachers.

LEVEL UP AUDITION CLASS

ALL competitors will be given an exclusive “Audition Experience”…  

Contestants will go through a real-life audition and experience what to expect from a real audition.

FACULTY Q&A

Dancers, Parents and Teachers are invited to join the faculty for a fun Q & A Session.

Aristocrat Standout Showcase

Each Competition Day, Judges will select routines that caught their eye and made an impression to do an encore performance in Thursday’s “Aristocrat Standout Showcase”.

 

This showcase represents the most interesting, fun, impressive or moving routines of the week in the Solo, Duo/Trio, Group, Line or Production Categories. 

Royal Kingdom Rulers Title Bout

The top 2 highest scoring Groups and Lines of each age division and level will be invited to re-compete in our Battle of the Royal Kingdom Rulers Championship.

SENIOR CHOREOGRAPHER GROUP CHALLENGE

We invite any and all graduating Seniors who have the passion, talent and love of Choreography and wish to showcase their original group routine and compete for this elite title to enter this challenge that will be performed at our Royal Experience Battle Royale Grand Finale.

OWN THE EMPIRE TITLE

Competitive soloists are invited to enter their solos in our exciting Own the Empire solo title competition and compete against all registered Regional Own the Throne Title Winners & First Runner Ups. Own the Empire Title Competition held at our Royal Experience Battle Royale Finale.

Mirror Mirror Photogenic Title

Participants may submit a recent photograph to be judged for the Mirror Mirror National Photogenic Award. Please add this option while registering your dancer on your Dance Comp Genie account.

ROYAL KINGDOM RULERS NATIONAL TITLE CORONATION

The overall Highest Scoring Group/Line/Production* in the Junior and Senior Age Divisions will be CROWNED!

*with 3 or more in each division

Dance Royalty, laughing, engaging, and making memories.

  • Battle of the Castles Minute to Win It Challenges Earn up to 50-Points
  • Make sure to Rep your Studio hard at this Fun Family Welcoming Night Party.
  • BYOB! Bring Your Own Blankets! Color Coordinated preferably.
  • Parents, Teachers, and Dancers are ALL Encouraged to participate & join in the fun.

“ROYALChella”… Family, Friends & Music Fest Theme Night

Good Vibes Only for Friendship, Family & Fun Times at our take on “Coachella”, where Boho meets Rock Star!  This is a perfect place to show off your Studio’s Spirit, Personality and Creativity with your own style, all while meeting new friends, teachers and get to know your Dance Champs Monarchy.

  • A fun opportunity for all Great Vocal Talents to come prepared to show off their skills and score big here singing a song for Battle at the Castle points.
  • Snacks & Beverages will be provided and tons of Fun for Everyone.
  • Make your own Temporary Tattoos, Bracelet Making & Hair Braiding Stations!  (Supplies included)
  • Photo Station

Suggestions: Hip Boho Vibe, Flower Crowns, Floral Prints, Lace, Fringe, Tie Dye, Feathers, Ribbons, etc.

Royal Rulers Cocktail Party

Studio Owners and Teachers, join the Royal Crew at our Teacher’s Appreciation event. As a thank you we will have Snacks Signature Cocktails waiting for you!

  • Take this opportunity to mingle with other Studio Owners, Teachers’ and our Judging faculty.
  • DIRECTORS! Earn Battle of the Castles Points by wearing Pink for our Photo Op! Earn 10-Points, per Teacher in PINK!
  • All Directors & Teachers (21 & over) are invited to our Cocktail Party.
  • NOTE: This event is included with or without Full National Event Option.

Senior Send-Off Party

All Graduating Seniors and Parents (optional) are invited to participate in this fun event just for them.

  • Seniors are asked to dress representing their college or career choice!Earn 10-Points, per senior
  • Dancers will meet in the Celebrity Theater and will also go to the front lawn of the Claridge Hotel for a Photo Session.
  • Some of the Activities include Beach Ball Get to Know One Another; Senior Sunset and Fun Photo Shoot!

Senior Choreographer Group Dance Challenge

We invite all graduating seniors who have the passion, talent, and love of Choreography to enter this challenge!

  • The full routine must be choreographed by a participating senior prior to the competition.
  • The routine must have 5 – 15 dancers.
  • No charge for this entry!
  • Senior Choreographer Dance Royalty Winner Receives… Reigning Senior Choreographer of the Year Banner and of course…Bragging Rights!
  • Email Choreographers name, Routine Title, Number of Dancers & Music to [email protected]

Battle of the Castles Studio Dance Challenge

1st Place: 50-Points |  2nd Place: 30-Points  |  3rd Place: 15-Points

All Dancers, Teachers, Parents and siblings attending are encouraged to participate in this Studio Spectacular! This must be a New Dance that has NOT been entered in the competition and no holds bar (following our rules & guidelines, of course)! 

  • Make sure to keep in your Studio’s theme, color scheme and incorporate fun and creative ways for this routine to really stand out!
  • Make sure to rep your Castle loud and proud.
  • Each Studio must come prepared with a choreographed routine that bests suit your overall Nationals!
  • Extra points added if including parents &/or teachers in the performance!!! Earn 10-Points!
  • Routines cannot be longer than 7 minutes.
  • Each studio is responsible for its own cleanup of the stage.
  • Props should not exceed a setup or breakdown of 1 min and 30 seconds.
  • Please NO Confetti
