Event Day Guidelines & Courtesies
While at Dance Champs Elite, we ask that all of the Dance Kingdom follow certain guidelines to ensure for a smoothly run and safe event:
• When not performing on stage, we ask that All performers wear footwear at all times to ensure safety.
• At most venues, Food and beverages are strictly prohibited in the PAC/Auditorium area and only in clearly marked designated areas, unless otherwise indicated.
• NO outside photography or videotaping while a dance performance is taking place. Pictures are welcomed during our awards ceremonies, unless otherwise indicated.
• We ask that all attendees exercise theater etiquette at all times. This means please remain in your seat while a dance is performing (you may use the transitional time in between the dances to move about the auditorium).
• Please keep talking to a minimum, silence cell phones and show the same courtesy to all performers.
Studio “Dance Kingdom” FAQ’s
Typically, our Studio Registration is at our Royalty Shoppe, immediately upon entry to our venue. There, receive your packet, program and be escorted to the Dressing area. You will be formally introduced to your Stage & House Managers and be taken to the Music Producers area to hand in your music, if it has not been previously uploaded.
Event Cancellation or Rescheduling
It will be noted on our website and an email will be sent to the Studio Owner. It will be the Studio Owner’s responsibility to inform all performers, staff, family and spectators of the cancellation/rescheduling.
Each performance will receive LIVE! On-Stage Feedback from one of the Judges. Video Critiques will be uploaded to your Online Registration Account with 48 hours of the events end. The only time you will receive paper score sheets is, if for any reason there is an issue with our Dance Comp Genie system.
All judging decisions are final!

Yes, we will have beautiful Dance Champs Elite apparel available for purchase at the Royalty Shoppe at all events.
Backstage and / or Dressing Room Entry
Unfortunately, our backstage area is only reserved for performers, teachers and studio directors to avoid congestion and overcrowding, unless your child is young and needs assistance. We do understand that many parents are involved with props and we allow prop parents to come backstage NO MORE THAN five entries prior to the entry that will be using the prop.
Yes, programs will be available at our Royalty Shoppe at all events.
Business Advertising Space: All Ads must be submitted electronically and sent to email@example.com, please write Program Ad & Competition Date in Subject box. All ads are Black & White, all text via a Word Document and please be cognizant of the amount of text you submit. Make sure to indicate your Competition Date/Location & Cell Number, jpeg photo’s should be of high resolution quality, deadlines are 30 days prior to event date. You can layout your ad in your document as you would like to see it and we will do our best to follow your guidelines, however, we cannot guarantee it will be exact.

You can layout your ad in your document as you would like to see it and we will do our best to follow your guidelines, however, we cannot guarantee it will be exact.

For the most part, our events do run in order as per the program. However, we try to be accommodating to quick changes and unforeseen circumstances, and therefore may skip over an entry and come back to it when it is ready. By doing so, Dance Champs is able to run an on-time (and in many cases, early!) event.
We always recommend being present and ready at the venue AT LEAST two hours prior to your scheduled performance time. Please pass this word along to any friends or family members who may be attending this weekend so that they are present if an entry performs early.
Photo | Video Packages
Photo | Video Order Forms will be available at most events and you can order on-site. We will have a photo viewing station and staff available outside the performance arena for your convenience and our friendly sales assistants will gladly make your purchases effortless.
There is also absolutely NO outside photography or videotaping allowed during a performance. If a studio has chosen to opt out of the media program, they may not opt back in at or after the event.
